Planning for summer

As I write this it is only about 17 degrees in New Hampshire, and I am looking forward to my trip next month to sunny Los Angeles to attend the Grammy Awards! This will be my third time attending....hopefully next time I attend will be as a nominee in the children's category! (someday.......)
Anyhow, I'm thinking summer as well and have already begun to plan my summer performances. I'm thinking of driving out to New Mexico this year, instead of flying as I usually do in June, so I want to plan some performances along the way. If you live anywhere between New Hampshire and New Mexico, and would like me to perform at your local theatre, school or library, send me an email here at the website and we'll see if we can't work something out.
In the meantime, I hope you are warm, wherever you are, and thank you for thinking of me today.

Eventful.com

Hi!
Now you can look for my performance schedule in some additional places. Besides the calendar here on my website, New England area families can find my public events listed on www.BostonCentral.com.
I'm also listing on a website called www.Eventful.com which is for concerts all over the country. On this website you can place a "demand" for one of my concerts in your area. If enough people from your area demand a performance, I'll try to plan a concert there! This is a unique feature and I hope my fans from all over will take advantage of it. As you know, my policy is "have piano, will travel!"

On a sadder note....

I do want to ask each and every person who reads this to say a prayer for the people of Kenya. If you have been following the news, you know there is a very serious political uprising in the country and terrible things are happening there. I have made many friends there on my trips to the Nyumbani orphanage, and I hear from them that they are living in hiding and in fear. As far as I know the orphanage is not in danger, but the folks who volunteer there and their families are terrified. Most of the citizens have left Nairobi, the capitol, to go into hiding in the country, where food is scarce.
Please pray for them, and pray that this terrible situation ends soon.
Thank you,
Judy

One Last "House on Christmas Street"

Happy New Year!! I'm very excited about 2008 and what the year holds in store. My wish is that you have a healthy, happy and safe new year. Thank you so much for your support, for visiting this website, reading this blog, and sharing my music. Without you I couldn't do all of this, and so I am very grateful.
I received a very lovely note from a guy named Joe in New York state who recently uploaded a video on YouTube of his house "playing my song!" You can watch the video here:

Thank you, Joe and family!
