New Guest Book...please sign in

I am so happy to finally have a new guestbook on my website. I know from my website statistics that a lot of people visit here but I have no way of knowing who they are. So please take a minute and write me a note on my guestbook to let me know you were here!! And if you have been to one of my shows, please let me know what you thought about it. I'd love to hear from you!
THANKS!

David Cassidy

Yes....I got very close to David Cassidy on Saturday night! I spent a grand total of about 12 seconds with him, but it was a very meaningful 12 seconds!! He put his arm around me and I showed him a picture of myself when I was 11 years old, holding a magazine with his picture on it and a Partridge Family Comic Book, and he said "Thank you for showing me this, Sweetie." SWEETIE!! Keith Partridge called me SWEETIE!
Here's the video of me nearly fainting as he walked by me on his way into the venue, I am in the bottom left corner near the end of the video, trying to get a grip.
If you ever needed proof that I am the world's oldest teenybopper, this is it.
Pictures coming soon.......

So Excited I Probably Won't Sleep Tonight

Hi..
I know that most of the folks who read this blog are the parents of my young fans, and not the kids themselves (most of my fans can't read yet!), so this message is going out to the ladies who are right around my age. You will be able to relate to my excitement about this:
Tomorrow night I'm going to get to meet DAVID CASSIDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, Keith Partridge himself! He was my very first teen idol love, when I saw him in 16 Magazine at the tender age of 11, and by the time I turned 12 I was glued to the TV set every Friday night for The Partridge Family. I loved his smile, his hair, his voice. I had his posters up all over my bedroom walls and I drove my family crazy because I talked of nothing else. Now, all of these many years later, I am going to get to meet him tomorrow night when he comes to Boston for our Oldies 103.3 summer concert series. I will hardly sleep tonight. The only thing that could make this better would be if John Travolta was standing right behind him!!!
Look for a photo on the picture page soon!

New Mexico....I miss you already!!

THANK YOU to all my wonderful friends and fans in New Mexico, where I just spent five days filled with fun, sun and music. I visit every year in June because the land is beautiful, the people are the friendliest in the country, and I can't say enough about how enthusiatic and affectionate the children are. A special thanks goes out to the librarians in Truth or Consequences, Deming, Tucumcari and Socorro, who went out of their way to make me feel at home.
I strongly suggest that you plan a visit to New Mexico with your family sometime before your kids grow up. It truly is the land of enchantment, from the wide open prarie and the mountains, to Carlsbad Caverns, to the UFO Museum in Roswell and everywhere in between, there is something for everyone. This year I had the enormous pleasure of visiting Tinkertown, USA, where I believe I found a kindred spirit in Ross Ward, the man who carved over a thousand miniatures in Tinkertown. Many of his "philosophies of life" are displayed on plaques and signs throughout the museum, and my favorite is "You don't stop playing because you grow up, you grow up because you stop playing."
My philosophy exactly!

The Drive In

I want to say an extra special thank you to the owners and staff of the Milford Drive-In for a WONDERFUL and TOTALLY TERRIFIC time on Friday and Saturday nights! Even though the weather wasn't the best on Friday evening, we still had a pretty good crowd, and Saturday night the place was JAMMED. A big "hi" and thank you to everyone who had fun with me and the Judy Crew and went Koo-Koo with us!
I'm excited to report that I'll be BACK at the Milford Drive-In on Friday night, June 27, for the opening night of the new Disney-Pixar flick, WALL-E. It's sure to be a sell-out, so if you are planning on joining us, get there early for a prime spot!
